Stocks are not from the woods just yet.  “The main point for us is the earnings recession is real and it’s wider than the one we experienced 2015-16,” Morgan Stanley Strategist Michael Wilson and his team wrote. 
The FAA says Boeing’s 737 Max 8 airplane is still safe to fly.  The Federal Aviation Authority said Monday evening that it cannot yet associate Sunday’s Ethiopian Airlines wreck and the Lion Air disaster in October.
Boeing slips as more nations suspend 737 Max flights. Shares of the planemaker were down approximately 2 percent ahead of Tuesday’s opening bell following Australia and Singapore became the latest states to ground the 737 Max airplanes. Boeing’s stock dropped 5.3percent on Monday.  
Elon Musk files his defense.  Tesla’s CEO responded to the Securities and Exchange Commissions fees that he was in contempt of court when he tweeted about the electric-car manufacturer’s production numbers, stating that the government agency has been trying to enlarge on the terms of its settlement and that it had been violating his First Amendment rights. 
Apple sets the date for the next event.  The tech giant has recently sent out invitations for an event on March 25 in the Steve Jobs Theater in its own Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, in which it’s very likely to introduce its own streaming-video support. 
Wells Fargo’s CEO heads to Washington.  Tim Sloan will appear Tuesday before the House Committee on Financial Services to think of the bank’s progress as it functions through a string of scandals that were found beginning in 2016. 
Stitch Fix crushes earnings.  Shares of their internet person-styling service were more than 24 percent Tuesday morning after second quarter earnings more than doubled the Wall Street consensus.
