This IDC study provides total findings concerning business process automation, one of the major uses of deployment software, from an IDC survey conducted in December 2005 in association with InfoWorld magazine. The survey provides a current status on a wide range of business process automation (BPA)/business process management (BPM) deployment software product types and trends. This information is used primarily in order to support the development of key assumptions and market drivers for the upcoming IDC forecast period (2006–2010).
